About Internship Program
AK (PG) College offers comprehensive internship and apprenticeship programs that provide students with practical industry exposure. Under NEP 2020, internships are integrated into the curriculum with academic credits, ensuring every student gains real-world experience.
The Placement Cell under Prof. Sanjay Kumar Yadav coordinates with 15+ partner organizations across Banking, Agriculture, IT, and Education sectors. Over 120 students have completed internships with stipends ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per month.
Types of Internships
Industry Internship
On-site training with companies in Banking, Agriculture, IT, and other sectors. Students gain real-world work experience.
Research Internship
Research projects under NEP 2020 at UG (3 credits) and PG (4+4 credits) levels guided by faculty mentors.
Teaching Internship
B.Ed. and B.T.C. students complete teaching practice in affiliated schools as part of curriculum requirements.
Agriculture Training
B.Sc. Agriculture students undergo RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience) and Agro-Industrial Attachment.
Virtual Internship
Remote work opportunities with startups and organizations, developing digital and professional skills online.
Apprenticeship
NEP 2020 apprenticeship embedded degree option in 4th year providing industry exposure and skill development.

PG Research Project
4+4 CreditsTimeline: PG Final Year
Comprehensive research project with dissertation submission and viva voce.
Apprenticeship (4th Year)
40 CreditsTimeline: 4th Year (Semester VII-VIII)
