Code of Conduct

AK (PG) College expects all students, faculty, and staff to adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior, academic integrity, and professional conduct. Our institution is built on a foundation of mutual respect, discipline, and dedication to academic excellence.

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action including fines, suspension, or expulsion as per the college's disciplinary committee's decision.

Anti-Ragging Policy

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within and outside the college campus. The college has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any student found involved in ragging will face strict disciplinary action as per UGC Guidelines and the Supreme Court directives.

The college has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad to monitor and prevent any incidents of ragging.

Ragging is a criminal offense punishable under law. Students and parents are advised to report any incident immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee or the national helpline.

Sexual Harassment Policy

The college is committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all students, faculty, and staff. Any form of sexual harassment is strictly prohibited as per the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

The college has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to handle complaints related to sexual harassment. The committee ensures:

  • Confidential handling of all complaints
  • Sensitive and empathetic approach towards complainants
  • Fair and impartial investigation process
  • Protection against victimization
  • Awareness programs and workshops on gender sensitization

Students and staff can approach any member of the ICC or the Women's Grievance Cell to file a complaint.
