About Placement Drives
AK (PG) College organizes regular placement drives throughout the academic year to connect students with leading companies. The Placement Cell under Prof. Sanjay Kumar Yadav coordinates campus drives, pool drives, and walk-in interviews.
In 2025-26, the college conducted 18 placement drives with 32 companies participating. Over 720 students participated resulting in 385 job offers with the highest package of ₹8.5 LPA.

Companies visit college campus for recruitment. Students participate in selection process at college premises.
Pool Drive
Multiple colleges participate at a common venue. Organized by university or consortium of institutions.
Walk-in Drive
Students directly visit company location or venue on specified date with required documents.
Virtual Drive
Online recruitment process conducted through video conferencing and online assessment platforms.
On-Campus
Recruitment exclusively for college students conducted within the campus by visiting companies.
Off-Campus
Recruitment conducted at company premises or external venue open to students from multiple institutions.
Placement Drive Process
Pre-Placement Talk
Company presents about organization, roles, growth opportunities, and compensation.
Registration & Verification
Document verification and registration of eligible candidates for the drive.
Aptitude/Written Test
Online or offline test covering aptitude, reasoning, English, and domain knowledge.
Group Discussion
Topic-based discussion to assess communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Technical Interview
In-depth interview assessing subject knowledge, problem-solving, and technical skills.
HR Interview
Final round evaluating personality, career goals, cultural fit, and salary negotiation.
