A Century of Excellence
AK (PG) College was established in 1916 by Ahir Kshatriya Mahasabha Uttar Pradesh with the noble vision of providing quality education to rural communities. What began as a small primary school has now blossomed into a premier educational institution offering multiple undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs.
Located on the serene banks of the Lower Ganga Canal in Shikohabad, our college has been at the forefront of educational excellence in the region. The institution has consistently evolved, adding new programs and infrastructure while maintaining its commitment to holistic student development.

Our Journey Through Time
Foundation Year
Established as Ahir Kshatriya Primary School by Ahir Kshatriya Mahasabha Uttar Pradesh. The vision was to provide education to rural communities in the Shikohabad region.
Junior School Established
Upgraded to Junior School status, expanding educational opportunities for the growing student population.
High School Recognition
Recognized as a High School, marking a significant milestone in the institution's growth and academic development.
Intermediate Classes
Started Intermediate (10+2) level education, providing higher secondary education to students.
Undergraduate Programs
Commenced undergraduate degree programs (B.A., B.Com), becoming a full-fledged degree college.
Postgraduate Programs
Introduced postgraduate programs (M.A., M.Com), elevating the institution to postgraduate college status.
B.Sc. Agriculture Program
Reintroduced B.Sc. (Agriculture) program, expanding the science stream offerings.
Modern Educational Hub
2500+ students, 150+ faculty, 50+ programs across six faculties. Equipped with modern infrastructure including smart classrooms, computer labs, and research facilities.
