The Department of Economics at AK (PG) College provides students with a strong foundation in economic theory and its practical applications. The department is led by Shri Gyanendra Singh (M.A., NET) as In-Charge, bringing expertise in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and Indian economy.
The department offers B.A. (Economics) at the undergraduate level with 60 seats. The curriculum covers microeconomics, macroeconomics, Indian economy, public finance, international trade, and economic development. Students gain analytical skills essential for understanding economic policies and market dynamics.
