1. Green Campus Initiative
Environmental Sustainability & Eco-Friendly Practices
The college has implemented comprehensive green campus initiatives to promote environmental sustainability and create an eco-friendly learning environment.
Solar Power System
Solar panels installed across campus providing renewable energy for hostels, administrative buildings, and common areas. Reduces carbon footprint and electricity costs.
RO Water Purification
Reverse Osmosis water purification plants installed at multiple locations ensuring clean drinking water for all students and staff.
Waste Management
Segregation of biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. Composting of organic waste for campus gardens.
Tree Plantation Drives
Regular tree plantation campaigns involving students, faculty, and community members. Campus located on banks of Lower Ganga Canal with natural greenery.
Campus Cleanliness
Sanitation Committee ensures regular cleaning and maintenance. Dedicated sanitation staff and student volunteer programs.
2. Gender Equity & Women Empowerment
Creating a Safe and Inclusive Environment for Women
The institution is committed to gender equity through dedicated committees, safety measures, and empowerment programs for women students and staff.
Women Safety Committee
Active committee chaired by Dr. Geeta Yadav addressing safety concerns, conducting awareness programs, and ensuring secure campus environment.
Women's Common Room
Dedicated space for female students with resting facilities, sanitary napkin vending machine, and counseling corner.
Gender Sensitization Programs
Regular workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns on gender equality, women's rights, and prevention of harassment.
20% Reservation for Women
Horizontal reservation of 20% for women candidates in all programs ensuring increased female participation in higher education.
Girls Hostel Security
Separate girls hostel with CCTV surveillance, female warden, secure entry system, and 24/7 security personnel.
3. Inclusive Education
Education for All Sections of Society
The college ensures inclusive education through reservation policies, financial assistance, and support systems for marginalized communities.
Reservation Policy
Full implementation of UP Government reservation: SC (21%), ST (2%), OBC (27%), EWS (10%), and Divyangjan (3%).
Book Bank Scheme
Economically weaker students deposit only 10% of book cost to access textbooks for the entire academic session.
Student Aid Fund
Financial assistance for needy students covering books, clothing, medicines, and fee deficiency. Managed transparently.
Scholarship Support
Multiple government scholarships: SC/ST, OBC, Merit, Freedom Fighter, Army, Ex-Servicemen, and Loan Scholarships.
Divyangjan Facilities
Special provisions for differently-abled students including medical certificate-based support and accessible infrastructure.
4. Discipline & Code of Conduct
Maintaining Institutional Discipline and Values
The institution maintains high standards of discipline through a comprehensive code of conduct, dress code, and anti-ragging measures.
Mandatory Dress Code
Prescribed uniform for all students promoting equality and institutional identity. Different dress codes for regular students and student teachers.
Anti-Ragging Policy
Strict anti-ragging measures with Proctorial Board oversight. Zero-tolerance policy with immediate action against violators.
Proctorial Board
Senior faculty members appointed by Principal to maintain discipline across campus, hostels, and college premises.
75% Attendance Mandate
Minimum 75% attendance required for examination eligibility and scholarship continuation. Regular monitoring by departments.
Anti-Drug & Anti-Smoking
Complete prohibition of smoking, alcohol, and intoxicants on campus. Awareness programs on substance abuse prevention.
5. Community Engagement
Serving the Community Through Extension Activities
The college actively engages with the community through NCC, NSS, extension activities, and social service programs.
NCC 5 U.P. Battalion
Established in 2014, the NCC unit provides military training, leadership development, and community service opportunities.
NSS Volunteer Programs
