About Campus Life
Life at AK (PG) College extends far beyond classrooms. Our 10-acre campus on the banks of the Lower Ganga Canal provides a vibrant environment where students grow academically, physically, and socially.
With 350+ hostel students, 200+ NCC cadets, 100+ NSS volunteers, and 6 active student clubs, campus life is filled with energy, learning, and unforgettable experiences.

Separate boys and girls hostels with solar power, mess facilities, and a vibrant community of 350 students living on campus.
NCC Activities
5 U.P. NCC Battalion established in 2014. Regular drills, camps, parades, and leadership training for cadets.
NSS Programs
National Service Scheme volunteers engage in community development, health camps, and social awareness programs.
Student Clubs
Various student clubs for debate, poetry, drama, music, and sports providing platforms for talent development.
Events & Celebrations
Regular cultural events, national day celebrations, festivals, and annual functions throughout the year.

Daily Campus Routine
Morning Gym & Sports
6:00 AM - 7:00 AMStudents start the day with gym workouts, yoga, or sports practice at the playground.
Breakfast & Preparation
7:00 AM - 8:30 AMBreakfast at hostel mess or canteen. Preparation for classes and study time.
Academic Sessions
8:30 AM - 2:00 PMClasses, practical sessions, seminars, and library study as per department schedule.
Lunch & Rest
2:00 PM - 3:30 PMLunch break followed by rest period. Students socialize in common areas.
Club Activities & NCC
3:30 PM - 5:00 PMNCC drills, NSS meetings, club activities, debate practice, and cultural rehearsals.
Sports & Recreation
5:00 PM - 7:00 PMEvening sports: cricket, football, volleyball, gym workouts, and indoor games.
