Important Scholarship Information

Scholarship applications must be submitted online through the Samarth Admission Portal. 75% attendance is mandatory for scholarship eligibility as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules. Scholarship amount is directly transferred to the student's bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Eligibility: Scheduled Caste students with verified caste certificate

Amount: Full tuition fee + maintenance allowance

Eligibility: Scheduled Tribe students with First Class or Excellent Second Class

Eligibility: Disabled students with valid Doctor's medical certificate (40%+ disability)

Eligibility: Students securing more than 50% marks

Amount: Tuition fee support (loan basis)

Eligibility: Based on university merit ranking (decided by Education Director)

Eligibility: Children of teachers (decided by Education Director)

Freedom Fighter Scholarship

Scholarship for Children of Freedom Fighters

Eligibility: Based on imprisonment certificate issued by District Magistrate

Amount: Full tuition fee + stipend

Army Scholarship

Scholarship for Children of Army Personnel

Eligibility: Children of serving/retired army personnel (Army Directorate)

Amount: Tuition fee support

UP Ex-Servicemen Scholarship

Scholarship for Children of Ex-Servicemen

Eligibility: Children of ex-servicemen (State Government)

Amount: Tuition fee + allowance

Note: Scholarship application deadline is as per Uttar Pradesh Government notifications. Students must maintain 75% attendance to be eligible for scholarships.

Student Aid Fund (College)

AK (PG) College has established a Student Aid Fund to assist financially needy students. This fund is separate from government scholarships and is managed by the college administration.

Purpose:Books, clothing, medicines, fee deficiency, and other educational needs
Eligibility:Needy students (SC/ST students have separate government provisions)
Criteria:Previous year's examination results are considered for assistance
Discipline:Indisciplined students are not eligible for aid
Maximum Amount:Up to 6 months of tuition fees
Restriction:Students receiving other government/college aid are not eligible
Misconduct:Misleading information leads to immediate cancellation of aid

Note: Students receiving any other form of government or college assistance are not eligible for the Student Aid Fund. Providing misleading information will result in immediate cancellation of aid.

Seat Reservation Policy 2026-27

The college follows the reservation policy of the Government of Uttar Pradesh as per UGC guidelines. Unity in diversity, equality, inclusion, and coexistence are our core principles.

Priority

Policy: Students from SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Women, Disabled, Minority, and Kashmiri Migrant categories are all given admission as per their eligibility. Candidates are advised to contact the Principal for any assistance.

Application Process

Check Eligibility

Review scholarship criteria and ensure you meet all requirements including caste certificate, income certificate, and academic performance.

Prepare Documents

Gather all required documents: verified caste certificate, fee receipt, marksheet, character certificate, parent's income certificate, Aadhar card, bank passbook.

Online Application

Apply through the designated portal (National Scholarship Portal for GOI schemes, UP Government Scholarship Portal for state schemes).

College Verification

College verifies documents and forwards application. Ensure all documents are self-attested with both Hindi and English signatures.

Approval & Disbursement

Upon approval, scholarship amount is directly transferred to the student's bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Important Notes
  • Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for all scholarship schemes as per UP Government rules.
  • Scholarship amount is transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to student's bank account (any nationalized bank).
  • Aadhar card must be linked with bank account for DBT.
  • Students receiving government scholarships cannot simultaneously avail Student Aid Fund.
  • All documents must be self-attested before submission.
  • Enrolment form must have clear Hindi & English signatures.
  • Deadlines are as per Uttar Pradesh Government notifications.
