About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at AK (PG) College was established as per NAAC guidelines to develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution.

Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Sanjay Kumar Yadav (M.Sc., M.Ed., Ph.D.), the IQAC drives all quality initiatives including NEP 2020 implementation, curriculum development, research promotion, infrastructure enhancement, and stakeholder satisfaction.

The IQAC comprises 6 distinguished members representing various departments and has been instrumental in preparing the Self Study Report (SSR) for NAAC accreditation, submitting Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR), and establishing 45+ institutional committees for effective governance (Page 24-26 of Prospectus).

IQAC Functions & Responsibilities

Quality Benchmarking

Developing and applying quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities of the institution.

Academic Planning

Facilitating creation of learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty development.

Feedback Management

Collection and analysis of feedback from students, parents, alumni, and employers for quality improvement.

Documentation

Preparation and submission of AQAR, SSR, and other quality documents to NAAC and regulatory bodies.

Quality Audits

Conducting academic and administrative audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Policy Formulation

Recommending quality enhancement policies and monitoring their implementation across departments.
