About the Gymnasium

The Gymnasium at AK (PG) College is a state-of-the-art fitness facility spread across 1,500 square feet, equipped with modern machines and equipment for comprehensive physical training. Managed under the Sports Committee chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Jagdish Yadav.

The gym features dedicated zones for strength training, cardio workouts, and flexibility exercises. With over 25 machines and equipment, it can accommodate 30 students per session. Qualified trainers are available to guide students on proper exercise techniques and create personalized fitness plans.

The gymnasium is open to all students and staff members. Special fitness programs are designed for B.P.Ed. students as part of their practical training curriculum. Regular fitness assessments help track progress and improvement.

Complete range of dumbbells, barbells, and weight plates for strength training and bodybuilding.

Modern gym machines including chest press, shoulder press, leg press, lat pulldown, and cable crossover.

Cardio Zone

Spacious area with yoga mats, foam rollers, and stretching equipment for flexibility training.

Gym Rules & Guidelines

Wear proper gym attire (t-shirt, shorts/tracks, sports shoes)
Carry a personal towel during workouts
Use equipment properly and re-rack weights after use
Maximum workout duration: 90 minutes during peak hours
Beginners must consult the trainer before starting
Report any equipment malfunction immediately
No food or beverages (except water) allowed inside
Maintain silence and avoid using mobile phones
Students must carry college ID card for entry
Follow trainer instructions at all times
